School notes
:
This week we will be starting our weather unit.  Within the next couple of weeks, I will be doing several weather experiments in the classroom.

We need a box of vanilla wafers, 4 boxes of vanilla pudding and multicolored sprinkles for an activity that I am doing in the beginning of March.  If you would like to donate the items, please let me know.

Please continue to work on letters, sounds, shapes, colors and numbers with your children at home.  They need to know all these things before they can go to kindergarten.

I am halfway done with the assessments.  I will send them home with the children when they are all completed.

Please do not let children bring toys from home to school.

Instead of going to mass on Tuesday, February 24th, we will be going this Wednesday, February 18th.  This will be the first mass this year where all the four year olds can attend. All parents are invited to come.  I just ask that all the children sit with the class. Mass starts at approximately 8:45 a.m.  Please make sure your children arrive to school on time.

A big thank you goes out again to all the parents who helped out at the Valentine's Day party, especially to Mrs. Mason (Mary Jane's mom) for putting it all together.  It was a big hit!!!

Please remember Mrs. Mason (Mary Jane's mom) sent out a letter asking for some money to help cover the costs for the party.
