Hello everyone, most of you know me, but for those who do not, my name is Gina Alberico. I am so excited to be starting as the 5th grade teacher this fall. I have been at St. Joseph School now for the past 4 years in different roles. I have been the Wilson Reading teacher, as well as the P.E. teacher, along with subbing and taking over Mrs. Waesco's maternity leave. I have two kids, Dominik and Sara. Dominik will be in 8th grade next year and Sara will be a 5th grader. We have been part of the St. Joseph family since Dominik was in the first grade. We feel very blessed to be a part of this school! I started teaching at Noonan Elementary Academy right after college in the second grade for multiple years, and I spent one year there teaching math to grades 1-4 also. My final teaching assignment before having Dominik and becoming a stay at home mom was at the Cathedral of St. Raymond in Joliet. I was the second grade teacher there for 3 years and the first grade teacher for two years. I returned to being part of a school community when Dominik was a second grader at St. Joseph as the Las Vegas Night silent auction coordinator. When Sara was in the first grade, I became the Wilson Reading teacher. I have added to my roles at St. Joseph since that time, and I absolutely love it!
I am so excited to start this new role, and I can't wait to see all of the kids back in school in the fall!!
